The Baptist Church in South Londonderry has strived to serve Jesus Christ and the community for over 200 years. They worshipped in a brick meetinghouse built in 1834 up until 2010 when the church was destroyed by a fire. Since the fire, they have been encouraged to see how God has continued to work in their community. They are currently working on rebuilding. Their plans have been completed and they hope to begin construction within the next year. As they plan for their new building, it is their hope and prayer that they will continue to be a vital part of their community.
